Why Work at Warner Family Practice?

Working at Warner Family Practice means feeling empowered to make a difference in the health of your patients. Each person that walks in to our office has a specific health need and it is our job to see potential issues and possible treatment paths in a preventative manner before corrective treatment is ever necessary.

We know that any healthcare or primary care office is only as strong as its providers. For this reason, we are very intentional to employ providers who embody our values as well as proper certifications for the practice of medicine.

Are you someone who has a reputation of building trust with your patients? Are you, by nature, eager to constantly learn something new? Do you believe that preventative care is the key to a healthy life? If so, Warner Family Practice may be the perfect place for you to grow your career!

Company History

We have been committed to compassionate and professional health care in Arizona since 1981 when our founder Merle Turner, DO began Lakes Family Practice in Tempe. The name was changed to Warner Family Practice in 1983 and we began offering more services.

A core value that has existed at Warner Family Practice from the beginning is providing our patients and their loved ones with all-encompassing care. We offer a variety of tests, including x-ray, ultrasound, DXA scan, and blood work at our on-site lab to provide a more complete treatment for our patients without sending them to various facilities across the county.

Message from Our Founder

“We have strived to build a clinic that encompasses all of a patient’s needs. Patients will not have to go here or there for a particular test but rather pretty much everything can be done in one location. We have worked hard to have quality providers that are not only qualified medically but also listen to their patients and are attentive to their needs.”

– Merle Turner, DO

Comments from Employees

“I’ve been employed with Warner Family Practice since 2002. I genuinely enjoy the Patients I have met in all my years. I am truly grateful for the experience.”

Shannon Ash

“I have been with this practice for 17 years and manage the Back Office flow and employees which consist of Medical Assistants.

I have to say that this is not a place to work if you have no real work ethic or drive/desire. This is truly a fast paced work environment and is constantly changing to benefit patient care. Dr Turner’s vision on preventative care has moved his practice out of the realms of a “normal” family practice. There is so much to learn here, ONLY if you have a willingness to absorb the information provided.

The culture here is the best it has been in the 17 years I have been here. There is a “perks team” that plans fun activities for the employees, the days of micro-management are moving farther away in the rear view and the mood is light and enjoyable.

The benefits package is A+ and even do 401K matching. PTO and sick time accrual as well as free yearly physicals for employees.

The hardest part of the job is the fast pace. Rarely will you have down time.

The best part of the job are the relationships that are formed with patients, co-workers and employees.”

“I have worked here at Warner Family Practice for about 12 years. It is an AMAZING place to work. If you don’t like to learn and grow with the company then this place is not for you. It is a fast paced office but the days fly by with the work that needs to be done to take care of our patients. We do our best to make EVERY patient happy and satisfied.

The hardest part of the job for some is that it is a fast paced office and sometimes changes need to be made in order for the office to run smoothly and some people do not like it when things change for the better.

The most enjoyable part of the job is that everyone here works together as a team and EVERYONE from management to the owners are GREAT.”
