Kristin was born and raised in Indiana. Growing up in central Indiana, she remains an avid Indianapolis Colts Football fan.
From the time Kristin was a senior in high school, she knew she wanted to be a nurse practitioner. Her dad, a family physician, greatly impacted her calling; she grew up hanging out in his clinic. Kristin found that it was an occupation and an environment she wanted to pursue as an adult.
“The most rewarding part of practicing medicine is getting to partner with patients to help each individual achieve optimal health and well-being.”
Kristin has always been passionate about preventative care. Identifying any health issues early allows the partnership between patient and doctor to limit negative consequences that can develop with uncontrolled conditions. She believes the best success for a healthy lifestyle comes through a team approach between patient and provider.
“Being able to see patients return happy with the healthy changes they have made means success. I enjoy celebrating with my patients.”
As a person who has often been told she is easy to talk to, Kristin is here to help you work through any health issues or concerns. Although your history is important to help guide you towards the next steps, you are not defined by your past.
Outside the office, Kristin and her husband are active in their local church and community. They also enjoy hiking and traveling. The two of them are looking forward to exploring the Southwest region.
“As a nurse practitioner, I have been trained in a holistic approach to caring for patients. I look forward to partnering with you as you work towards your health goals.”
