In 2013, Evelyn Herrera visited our office. Her allergies were out of control and she was suffering from the same symptoms you have experienced. The only difference is that Evelyn is a professional singer (more on that later).<\/p>\n
Evelyn\u2019s previous provider had begun prescribing allergy drop serum but was only administering the beginner dosage of 1 drop per day. During our conversation, we were looking at Evelyn\u2019s file and noticed in her paperwork that she was a singer. Two or three months later, Evelyn returned for a follow up visit. We had hoped that the nasality would be gone. It was. Her voice had lost all nasality. Her voice was pure, with an \u201cunadulterated songbird quality.\u201d But was Evelyn happy with the change?<\/p>\n
She was.<\/p>\n

Evelyn is from Arizona and English is her first language. According to her, she sings better in English than in Spanish, but because her husband is from the Dominican Republic and has a very heavy accent, they have always produced music in Spanish. Juan Carlos has lost much of his accent over time and is practicing with voice coaches to completely lose it.<\/p>\n
